Creating DIY versions of designer pieces is one of my favorite things to do. It’s an awesome way to push your imagination to use supplies and materials that are affordable and accessible. I’m all about it.

My latest designer-inspired creation can be found on eHow. This time around, I snagged some inspiration from a $320 pair of Tom Binns earrings (left) and whipped up my own handmade version. Easy peasy. And for less than 15 bucks, too!
