A few days ago, I shared a gingerbread whiskey truffle recipe made with an old gingerbread house. I decided to keep it going… in a gingerbread pie crust. I mean, you’ll only need so much to make the truffles. There’s probably going to be a ton leftover. So why not take it up a notch and make a pie crust, too? Dessert should know no boundaries.
Granted, this crust is pretty darn sweet. I’d recommend pairing it with a milder filling like egg custard. Or you can just eat it as is… I won’t judge you.
