Call me crazy, but I almost always save scraps from projects… especially when it comes to chain. These leftovers, after all, can be easily made into some kind of fringe. Making a simple piece of jewelry doesn’t call for that many supplies! So instead of throwing chains in the trash, I like to hold on to them. For my latest DIY tutorial at Darice Crafts, I was able to put them to good use with this layered fringe necklace project.

Adding chain to a beaded necklace is super easy. Just string them on in between beads. Bring in some charms, if you’d like.
