Like most things on Anthropologie’s website, I adored this River Bow Necklace, but knew it was definitely DIY-able. While $34 isn’t even that expensive for a necklace, this could easily be made for way less – and even in a different color, if you wanted!

Supplies:
– Gold beads (or color of your choice)
– Wire (I used 24 gauge)
– Heavy duty sewing thread, similar in color to the beads you’re using
– Jewelry pliers, scissors, chain, clasp, jump rings
– Clear nailpolish

7) Cut a piece of thread, about 8 inches long. Tie a knot (several times to make sure it’s secure) and seal it with a dot of clear nail polish. String about 4 inches worth of beads (or more, if you’d like).
TIP: This can get kind of tricky with the beads sliding around, so try reinserting the string back into the last bead and pulling it taught. Tie a few times and seal with clear nail polish.

9) Tie the strand of beads around the center of the wire bow. You may want to use a dot of glue or clear nail polish to keep it in place.
