What would the crafting world be without safety pins? I know I’d be pretty lost without them. They’ve saved the day when I’ve tried (over and over again) to get the perfect fit on a piece of DIY clothing. You know how it goes. So when I spotted a $168 Free People star studded pullover, I just had to make it myself.

… For a fraction of the price, obviously. For less than 20 bucks, I whipped up this safety pin star sweatshirt at Darice Crafts. It might look time consuming, but it’s pretty therapeutic to make. I usually like to throw on some TED Talks while working on projects like these.
