diy to do list: 10 Gift Ideas

Well, it’s that time of the year again. I don’t know about you guys,  but I’m already on my gift making grind! I’ve finally learned the importance of making your cards and gifts as EARLY as possible – because, before you know it, it’s December and we’re all scrambling around like no other. I know all the crafty types can relate. Handmade gifts really need time and thought! I rounded up — studs & pearls projects that are suitable for gift giving – like these Thread Tassel Bracelets. Easy, effective and fun.

Create a Wood Coaster Set for the hostess in your life. This set was made with free wood panel samples from Home Depot, along with acrylic paint, adhesive stencils and some clear acrylic sealer. If you plan to make quite a few sets…just don’t let them know that s&p sent you over! 😉
Why buy tags when you can make your own? These Floating Gift Tags were made with packaging plastic, making it a perfect recycling project. You may even have all the supplies on hand already – washi tape, stencils, and acrylic/glass paint. If you don’t have washi tape, you can even use masking tape or printed contact paper, and decorate it as you please. And if you don’t have stencils? Use a Sharpie or paint pen, or even sandwich a piece of paper with the name (printed out, or hand written, or stamped). The possibilities are endless, and if you use what you have, this will be a great way to add some money saving personalization to your packages.
Colorblocked Rhinestone Bracelet – perfect for anyone who loves a little bling.
For the student, teacher, or blogger in your life…make an Oversized Bow Notebook! Great way to use up those fabric remnants.
Create Easy Framed Home Decor for practically anyone. Vintage sewing patterns are great for the fashion lovers!

These Beaded Diamond Bracelets are dainty yet stylish.
You can never have enough hair ties – especially ones that are handmade, colorful and sturdy.
For the lady that loves her jewelry – Painted Glass Ring Holder
It might be almost winter, but you can still never go wrong with a Floral Statement Necklace
…Happy gift making!!
